The Situation
Roc Traveling Taverns is a new Rochester-area business from Shaun Fennessy and Tony Russo, built around a simple idea: instead of opening one pub and waiting for people to come to it, bring the pub to the party. Their first traveling pub, Paddy’s Wagon, gets delivered, set up, and picked up at weddings, graduations, birthdays, and backyard celebrations.
Because the business was launching from scratch, it had no existing website, no search presence, and no customers who could vouch for it yet. The site had to explain an unfamiliar service quickly, build trust with people who had never heard of the company, and make it easy to reserve a date.
What They Needed
A website that explains what a mobile pub rental is and how it works
A way to be found by people searching for mobile bar and pub rentals in the Rochester area
An online calendar where customers can reserve a date and pay a deposit
Clear answers to the questions customers would ask before booking
What We Did
A search-focused site structure.
We built the site around the searches the business wants to be found for, starting with mobile pub and bar rentals in Rochester, with page titles, headings, and image alt text set up from the beginning rather than added afterward.
A services page that answers the real questions.
The page walks through how the rental works, what’s included, what customers bring themselves, and the space and delivery requirements. It’s laid out so someone can decide quickly whether the tavern fits their event.
Consistent business details.
We kept the business name, service area, and contact information consistent across the website and Google Business Profile, which helps local search.
Online booking with an overnight workflow
Most rentals are overnight, with evening delivery and next-morning pickup, which doesn’t fit a standard appointment calendar. We set up the booking system so customers can pick a date and put down a deposit while the schedule still reflects the overnight rental.
Content written in the owners’ voice
The copy keeps the hospitality of the Irish pub concept instead of sounding like a generic rental company.
A full FAQ page
We turned the owners’ answers into a grouped, easy-to-scan FAQ covering booking, deposits, delivery, setup, drinks, and responsibilities. It also uses FAQ structured data, which can help the page earn rich results in search.
The Result
In its first week live, the Roc Traveling Taverns website drew 372 unique visitors and 919 page views, and the business received its first booking on day one.
For a brand-new company with no existing customers, reviews, or search history, that meant the site was doing its job right away: explaining an unfamiliar service, building enough trust to take a deposit, and getting a date on the calendar.
We’re continuing to track bookings, inquiries, and search visibility, and we’ll update this page as more results come in.
